We are very happy with the work carried out by TLC Boat Repairs, we really can't fault it. The workmanship on the teak deck is superb.
Barry at TLC has been very helpful throughout the process, especally when we found a problem with the chain plates lifting the old deck. TLC have created some new fibreglass knees to attach the chain plates to.

We have now completed work on this Van de Stadt 34 yacht. The existing teak deck was extremely worn and had numerous problems that we have addressed, including:
- Borders were split and cupping
- Kingplank was not set out correctly
- No borders around chain locker
- Joints are confused
- Dowels are showing
We have also renewed the toe rails, and refixed the chain plates which were fitted directly to the deck causing lifting and bluging of the deck. We have fitting an internal carrying knee to act as a strengthening point for the chain plates, and had to rebuild the chain lockers to accomodate the new strengtheners.
